The American Sewing Guild is a national non-profit organization. Meetings are open to anyone at all levels of sewing experience, from absolute beginners to advanced experts. The Santa Monica chapter meets once a month in our studio and is hosted by Lori Pettiti.
Although our knitting help nights are currently on hold, join us every Wednesday for an evening of stitching…and bitching….together! Please check back with us or schedule a private lesson for individual project help. Sit in our comfy orange couches and work on project alongside fellow crafters. Bring your friends!
Every Wednesday from 6-8pm!
Bring in your projects, friends and food – explore our studio, equipment, and library books all for free! We will be here to answer any questions you may have, share ideas, show you around, or just let you run free on your own. During Open Studio Night, we also invite everyone to bring fabric pieces from their stash for our Fabric Swap – trade oldies for goldies!
Bring your knitting and crochet projects and sit in the comfy orange couches at The U.C.C studio. Meet local crafters, enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee after work while you work on your projects. It’s a great opportunity to look through project ideas in our library and share ideas.
