I’ve just returned from a fantastic vacation up the west coast. I stopped by some places I’ve been anxious to visit, one being the Independent Publishing Resource Center in Portland. The IPRC, as it is usually called, is a non profit self-publishing center that teaches all kinds of bookbinding, letterpress classes and much more. My very favorite part of the center is their extensive zine library, (one of the country’s largest in fact!) that has handmade publications on music, food, crafts, rants, raves and more, spanning several years, from all over the world. Read more about this very special place here.
While the time off was much appreciated, I missed some great classes while I was away. Here are photos from the Halter Dress class taught by Christine Haynes. If you haven’t downloaded our latest schedule yet, you can find it here. Congratulations ladies, your dresses look amazing!
