Special October event! FREE!

Come craft up some Halloween fun! Instead of our usual themed club nights, we’re opening up the studio on Wednesday evenings in October between 6-8pm to any crafters hoping to bring some handmade fun to their Halloween celebrations. Come in for inspiration and support while working on your holiday costumes, decorations or other spooky projects! (Normal Club meetups will resume in November.)

This past Sunday, The Urban Craft Center had the pleasure of participating in The Taste Of Beverly Hills, where we modeled our handmade aprons during a pie baking competition! So many cute vintage aprons!! And not to mention the pie! With 40 plus entries, there was plenty to go around after the winners had been announced. A special thanks to KCRW for inviting us to this lavish event. We had a great time putting together our aprons, which were all patterns from one of my favorite books here in the store A Is For Apron. I always love it when the ucc team gets to craft together, especially if the reward is a cute apron and endless slices of pie!
